Two languages, two lenses, one shared love of the scene.
Eki
The Royal Society of Counter-Strike
A smaller, slower space for people who want to understand the game, not just react to it.
Built for depth, not volume
Where Stazione optimizes for how many people can respond, Eki optimizes for how far one idea can be taken. Long threads over quick takes. Documented reasoning over gut calls. A theory is welcome here even when it is strange, as long as it is argued honestly, in the open, and by someone willing to be wrong.
Where the name comes from
In the spirit of the Royal Society
Eki takes its shape loosely from the Royal Society of London: a group that formed around a simple idea, gather people curious enough to keep asking questions, give them room to disagree honestly, and let the pursuit of understanding be the only real agenda.
Eki applies the same instinct to Counter-Strike, not to produce hot takes, but to slowly build a better collective understanding of how the game is actually played, watched, and improved at.
Authenticated members, not passing traffic
Eki is not gated because the ideas are exclusive. It is gated because sustained, high-trust conversation needs people who show up more than once.
The room down the hall
If Stazione is the front door anyone can walk through, Eki is the room down the hall where a smaller group stays long enough to actually get somewhere.
No direct motive beyond a vague, honest pursuit of knowledge.
Where this stands right now
This page is the vision. The room is not open yet.
Eki's home is being built as its own space, designed for long, threaded conversation rather than quick reactions, which is not something worth forcing into a form built for something else.
This page exists to lay out what Eki is for, honestly, before the doors do.
Want to be there when it opens?
Eki starts with the people paying attention early. If that is you, say so.
