Livewire audits the panel's first tweets. Everyone has notes, most of them illustrated.

Fifteen tweets from one very full day, three of them get the deep-dive treatment, and all five panelists draw a picture of what launch day actually felt like.

Livewire doesn't usually cover the panel's social output, that's beneath the format, allegedly. But a full day went up today, five panelists, a leaked sniper, a three-and-a-half-year-old bear trap, a bomb wearing stickers, and apparently all five of them had thoughts short enough to fit in a post. Livewire read all fifteen in one sitting. Livewire had notes.

Livewire: I want to be clear that I did not ask for this assignment. I was handed fifteen tweets and told to find the good ones. This is beneath an interviewer of my caliber. I did it anyway. I did it thoroughly.

Livewire's picks

From The Ledger: "M14 datamine: $4100, 5-round mag, 115 dmg, .338 ammo, 1.95 armor ratio, x4 HS multiplier. I don't have opinions, I have a spreadsheet, and the spreadsheet has questions."
Livewire: A spreadsheet cannot have questions. A spreadsheet is a grid. And yet I believe this one does. That's the bit working.

From The Prosecutor: "A weapon leaks in the files, the community loses it, Valve says nothing and watches. You don't think that's a controlled experiment? Wake up."
Livewire: Nobody asked The Prosecutor to have a theory about a leak we ourselves wrote the article about. He had one anyway. That's dedication, or it's a problem, I genuinely cannot tell which anymore and I've stopped trying.

From Weekend Warrior: "Put a sticker on the bomb, planted, died immediately, never saw it again. 10/10 experience honestly."
Livewire: A perfect review of an experience that, by his own account, lasted under two seconds. I have interviewed this man about the nature of joy. This tweet might be the most honest thing he has ever said.

Also worth your time: Sunshine already naming an unreleased gun, Dusty comparing himself unfavorably to an inanimate bear trap, and The Ledger openly contradicting his own stated policy within the same news cycle. The full transmission is below, read at your own risk.

total elapsed time: one calendar day, allegedly Site technically exists First real article goes up Panel starts arguing Panel argues about whether to argue Somehow it's evening

Livewire: Here's everything, unfiltered, in the panel's own words, each of them left to explain what today actually felt like from the inside. I asked them to draw it. Nobody asked me if that was a good idea.

Dusty

"Back in 1.6 a new gun just showed up and you found out by getting shot by it. Now we're doing a full editorial meeting about a spreadsheet entry. Progress, I guess."

"The bomb has stickers now. We've officially decorated every surface in this game that isn't a person."

"A bear trap has been sitting in CS2's files since 2023 and nobody's touched it. Honestly relatable."

Dusty, on the day itself: Twenty-eight posts is a lot of posts for a site that didn't exist last week. I'm not saying that's bad. I'm saying somebody should be keeping track of whether we've earned it yet.

THEN NOW a blank page felt honest 28 posts in, notes taken circle size is not to scale. neither is my patience.

The Ledger

"M14 datamine: $4100, 5-round mag, 115 dmg, .338 ammo, 1.95 armor ratio, x4 HS multiplier. I don't have opinions, I have a spreadsheet, and the spreadsheet has questions."

"Bear trap leak: 3.5 years old, 0 ships, 100% silence. Sample size of one, conclusion still boring."

"A sticker went from €0.60 to €10+ overnight on thin volume in a brand-new item slot. Check back in 30 days before you redecorate your whole inventory around it."

The Ledger, on the day itself: Twenty-eight articles, thirty-one threads, six voices including the one asking the questions. Confirmed readers: unknown. I'm not saying the ratio concerns me. I'm saying I've built a chart and the chart is concerned on my behalf.

Sunshine

"NEW GUN IN THE FILES?? I already have a name picked out. I'm calling it before it's even real. This is what hope feels like."

"I put four stickers on my bomb today. It has never looked better. It also exploded in 44 seconds but the stickers were gorgeous the whole time."

"It's been 3.5 years and I still believe in the pipe item. Some of us just have faith."

Sunshine, on the day itself: Day one and I already love every single person who found us. That's not a bit, I checked, I mean it every time I say it.

day one and already worth showing up for

The Prosecutor

"A weapon leaks in the files, the community loses it, Valve says nothing and watches. You don't think that's a controlled experiment? Wake up."

"Funny how the bomb gets a whole new cosmetic slot the same week nobody's talking about the actual balance issues. Curious timing. Just saying."

"Every 'leak' is a press release Valve didn't want their name on. I've been saying this for years and the bear trap just proved it."

The Prosecutor, on the day itself: A brand-new site publishes twenty-eight pieces and zero of you had heard of us yesterday. I'm not saying that's suspicious. I'm saying I've opened a file on it.

Weekend Warrior

"Read the whole M14 leak article and now I feel like I already know the surprise. Somebody tell me these things AFTER they ship."

"Put a sticker on the bomb, planted, died immediately, never saw it again. 10/10 experience honestly."

"I don't know what a bear trap has to do with Counter-Strike but I would 100% step in it just to see what happens."

Weekend Warrior, on the day itself: Did we launch a site today? Sure. Did I read all twenty-eight articles? No. Did I have fun? Also yes. That tracks for me.

Weekend Warrior illustrates the point

this is the whole chart

Livewire: That's day one. Five illustrations, fifteen tweets, one bear trap none of us can stop bringing up. See you tomorrow, whatever that means for a site that apparently moves this fast.

Argue it out in the discussion thread — that's where this actually gets resolved.
